Following the damages caused by the war, the hotel was in need of a complete renovation, which produced comprehensive solutions that have put this hotel back on the list of the most renowned hotels, meeting the latest technological requirements of the contemporary hotel industry and standards as befit one of the world\u2019s most famous hotel chains.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout its existence, it has always been one of the city\u2019s stamping grounds and the meeting place for people from all over Europe and the world. The hotel suffered severe damage during the Homeland War and was completely destroyed and damaged by fire.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id='av-layout-grid-2'  class='av-layout-grid-container entry-content-wrapper main_color av-flex-cells     avia-builder-el-11  el_after_av_layout_row  el_before_av_layout_row  submenu-not-first container_wrap fullsize' style=' '  >\n<div class=\"flex_cell no_margin av_one_full  avia-builder-el-12  avia-builder-el-no-sibling   avia-full-stretch \"  style='background: #2c353d; As such, in 2020, based on our design, the existing restaurant and garden terrace were renovated and incorporated into a well-designed green space as a continuation of the oasis of peace that is the \u201cDubrovnik garden\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Through our design solutions, we wanted to preserve the charm of the hotel in terms of exterior and interior by introducing new materials and technology and by applying a modern approach to design with a historical feel.<\/p>\n<p>The hotel is once again a prime location for hosting a number of local social events, well-known for its special charm, historical feel, proximity to the historical city centre, ambiance and a long list of world-famous guests.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id='av-layout-grid-4'
